General Manager – Sales

Overview

The General Manager – Sales (Furniture Vertical) is responsible for leading and growing the company’s furniture business. This role focuses on increasing sales, building strong customer and channel relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in the market. The GM oversees the entire sales operation—creating sales strategies, developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and guiding the sales team.

Responsible For

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Create yearly and quarterly sales plans.

  • Study market trends and competitors.

  • Set and track sales and profit targets.

2. Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities in retail, B2B, projects, and dealer networks.

  • Build strong relationships with architects, designers, builders, and corporate clients.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead and guide sales team members.

  • Set performance targets and review achievements.

  • Provide training and support for team growth.

4. Key Account & Channel Management

  • Manage big clients like corporate accounts and developers.

  • Expand dealer, distributor, and franchise networks.

  • Ensure good product display and brand visibility in showrooms.

5. P&L & Operations

  • Manage pricing, margins, discounts, and credit policies.

  • Work with production, supply chain, and logistics for timely deliveries.

  • Forecast demand for production planning.

6. Marketing & Product Coordination

  • Support marketing in promotions and product launches.

  • Give market feedback to improve product design, pricing, and quality.

7. Customer Experience

  • Ensure good after-sales service and customer satisfaction.

  • Handle escalations and solve customer issues quickly.
